You will have to support the creation of new ed tech solutions for various teams. You will also be responsible for designing the high-level structure of new technology solutions including emerging technologies, planning the resources needed to implement the new solution and identifying potential roadblocks. You also have to oversee the architecture of the Quest App from a technical perspective. You also have to visualize and create databases and dashboards for data driven decision making. You are required to map future trends and make technology decisions that will have far reaching implications on the trajectory of the organization.
As part of this role, you have to plan, build and deliver on the roadmap for the move from an App to a platform, allowing the Quest App to become a Learning Platform that integrates seamlessly with other products and platforms in the Learning Space through APIs. You have technologically enable the creation of a personalised learning engine that allows Quest App learners to carve their own paths of learning. You have to provide Strategic Input and oversee the Product coordination, development, maintenance and support as a manager and leader of the team. You have to be the architect of technology solutions and transform people’s relationships with technology and recommended technology for internal excellence to empower Quest to become a 21st century organization.
Contributing to the thought leadership agenda of the organization and providing technology solutions for Functions.
You have to lead the Innovation lab and drive innovations from a technical and technology perspective. You also have to define the process and scope of the innovation lab, the workflow of the innovation process - stages, actors, roles and responsibilities and bring cross functional teams together to pursue specific ideas and ensure they come to life. You also have to lead the rapid experiments, where necessary, to bring ideas to life and build prototypes that can be tested and released.
You have to create a method to capture innovations that are underway across the organisation so that the learnings can be institutionalised. You also need to use innovative methods and tools to identify and accelerate ideas for innovation and to filter out the good ones from the not so good ones. You have to devise a mechanism for prioritisation and selection of ideas to be worked on by the lab. You are required to build/set up systems, processes and tools necessary for smooth running of the lab and to aid those working in and with it.
You also have to work closely with Nodes, Capacity Building, Hub, Anandshala, QEL and other teams to understand challenges/opportunities, look at ideas for innovation and execute on them. You need to look at how the network can be extended to bring other actors in the Quest ecosystem onboard - learners, trainers, partners, etc.
You have to work with external parties - individuals and organisations. You have to create ways by which relevant people from across teams can be brought together to identify, accelerate and test innovations. Your role demands that you provide direction and thought leadership to virtual-cross functional project teams.
You have to identify connections and interactions between seemingly unrelated aspects and understand why they are the way they are, what role they play, and how. You are required to move up from a microscopic to a telescopic view of things and vice versa.
You need to balance the needs of the people involved, the organization’s objectives and the possibilities of technology to build the most appropriate and lasting solutions. Preparing detailed yet simple solutions to understand maps of the current state, identify pros and cons, and architect the future state and automate processes and workflows to reduce effort and improve accuracy are part of your responsibilities. You have to design and build tools and templates that help run the processes and are easy to use and work with and drive diverse cross functional project teams to design, build and implement new or improved systems and processes.
You also have to design and document a Future State for the organizations’ Systems and Processes, so that they integrate well, build on each other, and allow for the creation of a unified view across the organisation that serves as a snapshot for the Leadership, Board and for sharing with external stakeholders on the one hand, and as a strategic blueprint on the other.
